Apple Updates Professional and Consumer Desktop Line

Today, Apple announced updates to its professional and consumer desktop computer line with new Mac Pros, iMacs, and Mac Minis. This is great news for photographers. As David mentioned in a recent article, our favorite desktop photography machine is the Mac Pro, and this upgrade makes it even better!

Feeling the need for a new computer? Today, I am throwing my full support behind the Mac. I am convinced that there are significant stability and usability advantages to the Mac system for the serious digital photographer who is not already a Windows IT expert.

MacWorld 2009 Keynote Wrap-Up

There were some fun new announcements today at the MacWorld 2009 Keynote Address. Much attention was focused on this year’s conference because it will be the last (apparently) that Apple will actually be attending and because Apple’s CEO, Steve Jobs, didn’t do the keynote presentation today. It was given, instead, by Apple’s Senior VP of Product Marketing, Philip Schiller.
