About
Welcome to TheLightroomLab.com. Here you’ll find tips, tricks, tutorials, videos, and discussions about Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. Lightroom is a software program developed by Adobe specifically for professional and advanced amateur photographers. It allows you to quickly and efficiently import, organize, edit, and output images.
TheLightroomLab.com is filled with an ever-growing collection of free content for your enjoyment and education. My advice: just start clicking and find something you like. If that frightens you, here’s some more information about the site:
The site is divided into a number of different sections and sub-sections. Most of the content is dynamic and updated regularly so check back often.
Pages
Across the top of the site, you’ll see our different pages:

Become a Contributor (Sub-Page)
Want to become a contributor to TheLightroomLab.com? This site wouldn’t be possible without your help. If you think you may have something to contribute to the site, check out this page to see what we’re looking for.
Donate
At least for now (and hopefully into the future) all of the content on the site is available to you free of charge. In order to keep the content free, we do feature some advertising on the site. Also, some of our product and book reviews feature links to some of our affiliates which pay small commissions on product sales. Rest assured, however, that none of our product or book reviews are paid reviews, or “advertorials.”
If you’re really happy with some of the information you’ve found on the site, we’d greatly appreciate a small donation. Whatever you feel is appropriate would be fantastic. The Donate page is the place for that.
Contact Us
Just what it sounds like. Have a question, comment, complaint, or free trip to Hawaii for us? This is the page for that sort of business.
Categories
Every article, or “post” on the site is assigned to at least one category. These categories are listed along the menu bar underneath the header on the page.
The categories will grow and change over time, so keep exploring.
Tags
All articles also contain one or more tags. Just like keywords in Lightroom (you like how I did that?), they help you find just the articles that interest you. Tags are accessed from the drop-down menu below the list of featured articles. Some examples may include “beginner,” “intermediate,” “advanced,” and “video.”
Other Content
To the left of the main content on the Home Page, you’ll find some other interesting information: our Twitter feed, links to other sites we like, etc.
