I recently finished up with a fantastic photography workshop at the world famous Blackberry Farm Resort in Walland, TN. Blackberry Farm sits on the edge of Great Smoky Mountain National Park and it is a spectacular place. This five-star resort is renowned for its quiet country charm, its high standards of customer service, and the superb quality of its food and wine offerings.
Teaching at Blackberry is always a wonderful experience. I have enjoyed every class there but this time the weather was perfect. The spring flowers and Dogwood trees were bursting with color. All of our photo shoots were spectacular!
A big thank you to my co-teacher Ms. Heather Anne Thomas of Beall & Thomas Photography. Most of all, a huge thanks to all who participated in this year’s event and to all the staff who make staying and photographing at Blackberry Farm such a special treat. I hope to see ya’ll again next year!
P.S. I set my camera up and shot this time-lapse of our closing gala dinner and slide show in the “Wine Cellar” dinning room. The meal was delicious and the wine pairings were perfect. Watch the various types of wine glasses stack up as we enjoy this lovely dinner!
