Book Release – Lightroom 3: Streamlining Your Digital Photography Process
I just wanted to take a moment to announce the pending release of a new reference book for Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3. Lightroom 3: Streamlining Your Digital Photography Process by Nat Coalson is currently available for pre-order at Amazon.com.
I’ve not had a chance to review this book yet, but Nat has produced great work in the past including the book Lightroom 2: Streamlining your Digital Photography Process and an article for TheLightroomLab.com. I can, therefore, go ahead and safely recommend that you check it out for some help in learning Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3.
According to Coalson, the new book is completely updated and covers all the features of Lightroom 3, as well as more coverage on specific topics requested by readers of his previous book on Lightroom 2.
The book is now being printed and will ship within the next couple of weeks. (The official ship date is listed as July 6, but Nat says it will likely be sooner.)
After I receive a copy of the book, I’ll give it a good read and review it here at TheLightroomLab.com. Until then, I’d recommend you go ahead and check out Lightroom 3: Streamlining Your Digital Photography Process at Amazon.com yourself.

Hello.
Melissa the “Optimizing Tonal values” Chapter is very well explained and lots of good examples..I totally recommend that book.
Regards.
I have read the book too. It is pretty enlightening:-)
Very helpful comment Kathy. What I am really interested about is the “Optimizing Tonal values” Chapter… What can you tell me about that one?
Thanks!
I bought a copy of this book at Photoshop World (Sept. 1-3) and have already read most of it. This book is very well done with an emphasis on practical workflow and solutions for common questions and issues that people new to the software encounter. I especially like that he actually talks about how to print and the things you need to know to get good results. I’m happy to recommend this book!
