Tetons and Technology Photography Workshop

March 19, 2010 | | Comments 4

The Grand Tetons

One of the most stunning mountainscapes on the planet resides in the picturesque northwestern corner of Wyoming – Grand Teton National Park. The spectacular scenery of this pristine land moved even the great giant of industry, John D. Rockefeller, to protect its beauty for all to enjoy. Enhanced by the nearby town of Jackson Hole, this is one of the most sought-after vacation destinations in North America. With six different summits reaching over 12,000 feet, the Grand Teton range hosts the majestic Snake River and provides an astounding western skyline rising starkly above charming Jackson Hole. Grand Teton National Park provides some of the most amazing fall color on the continent and if one is lucky to have a fresh powdering of snow on the peaks at the same time, well, let’s just say it is breathtakingly beautiful.

But this workshop isn’t all about the aesthetic. It is also about the technology. All of our workshops include classroom lecture on photographic principles and Lightroom and Photoshop instruction as well. But this workshop is a bit different. We will shoot every morning and some evenings to capture images of the stunning Tetons. But most afternoons will entail in depth study in Adobe’s digital editing programs of Lightroom and Photoshop – more in-depth than in the classes held during Natural Connection’s other workshops.

You know me…I’m one of the creators of TheLightroomLab.com. I’ve taught photography for a number of years, and it’s one of my favorite things to do. I just love helping others with photography…on and off the computer.

Ledra Davis

Ledra Davis

Ledra is the founder of Natural Connections Photo Workshops and is an Atlanta-based photographic artist whose greatest love involves traveling and capturing images from the most picturesque places within this country and beyond. She is particularly attracted to the vastness and rugged beauty of the American West and Northwest. Any place that fills the heart, touches the soul and alerts the senses is a place Ledra longs to be and to photograph.

Ledra has been a professional photographer for over five years and has loved every minute of it. As an accomplished photographer well versed in Photoshop and Lightroom, the only thing she loves as much as actually photographing is teaching others about photography. Leading people in the field and watching the progression of their skills and artistic vision is particularly fulfilling for Ledra. With her fun, enthusiastic and hands-on style of teaching, Ledra encourages her students not only to push their limits but to also enjoy every second of doing it.

The cost of the workshop is $895.

    Scott..
The Grand Teton Workshop has 2 sets of dates. Lightroom Lab shows it 10/2 to 10/24 and the Workshop listing shows it 10/2(or 3) to 10/8. What gives?
