Designed to quickly take beginning Lightroom users through a series of graphically-intensive lessons, Nolan Hester’s Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2: Visual QuickStart Guide lives up to its name. An incredible amount of information is included in this relatively short book.

Book Review: Photographer’s Photoshop CS4 Companion by Mark S. Johnson

It’s no secret that my software use for photography has moved heavily towards Lightroom. Today, Apple announced updates to its professional and consumer desktop computer line with new Mac Pros, iMacs, and Mac Minis. This is great news for photographers. As David mentioned in a recent article, our favorite desktop photography machine is the Mac Pro, and this upgrade makes it even better!
